Sorry , I have been quite quiet recently.

First I was enjoying a vacation in strangely enough in Russia. Mostly St.Petersburg. Not only a vacation but also an opportunity to learn a country and meeting the people who live there.  I have noticed that you can look on television and read about it but it will not work. Mass media is by far not a good way to learn how it is there. You will not apprehend how the people really live there. You need to be there. To see and feel how it actually is. You have to talk to people directly in order to know what they think , what moves them and how they would like to live. To my surprise the Russians are very nice. Not immediately as open as Americans. But if they are open they stay open. This unlike Americans who close again pretty fast.

In my opinion the Russians are very nice people. Also very European like. I find it strange that the media , politics and other institutions of power are building a barrier between us. As if we are enemies. We really are not. They let us think that way but the Russians themselves are very nice , good hearted and helpful people.

I think that we have to be very critical and carefull on what the media , politics and other institutions of power are telling us. Because they are not right and apparantly have a different agenda.

I have been silent for a short while. And sometimes its nice to enjoy the silence. It makes you think.

But now its time for my voice. You will here it more frequently.
